The Journal of Pedagogical Studies and Research (JESR) is the official scientific journal of the Centre for Pedagogical Studies and Research (CERP), specializing in educational sciences and disciplines that contribute to understanding educational phenomena. It publishes original, rigorous, and impactful scientific work, paying special attention to Mauritanian, African, comparative, and international realities.

The journal welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed, comparative, and interdisciplinary research. Its scope notably covers educational policies, education indicators, curricula, teacher training, governance, evaluation, educational technologies, inclusion, educational sociology and psychology, neurosciences and education, languages and didactics, economics and financing of education, culture, heritage, and the relations between education and society.

JESR accepts contributions in Arabic, French, and English. It prioritizes scientific rigor, integrity, independent peer review, interdisciplinary openness, and open access dissemination of published knowledge.
