The Journal of Educational Studies and Research (JESR) is the official scientific journal of the Centre for Educational Studies and Research (CERP), specializing in educational sciences and disciplines contributing to the understanding of educational phenomena. It publishes original, rigorous, and impactful scientific work, with special attention to Mauritanian, African, comparative, and international realities.

The journal welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, comparative, and interdisciplinary research. Its scope includes educational policies, education indicators, curricula, teacher training, governance, evaluation, educational technologies, inclusion, sociology and psychology of education, neuroscience and education, languages and didactics, economics and financing of education, culture, heritage, and the relations between education and society.

JESR accepts contributions in Arabic, French, and English. It prioritizes scientific rigor, integrity, independent peer review, interdisciplinary openness, and open-access dissemination of published knowledge.
